I wrote the Earth’s Prayer in 2009, and this week was inspired to craft a New Pledge of Allegiance.
Both might be blasphemy to some and piety to others…
The New America’s Pledge of Allegiance:
We pledge allegiance to the principles,
Of the United Traits of America
And to the Values for which we Stand,
Under every God, or no God as YOU choose to believe,
With Dignity & Compassion for ALL.
