Nick Dupree Fought to Live ‘Like Anyone Else’
The activist campaigned to change rules, so people with disabilities could get nursing care and support at home past the age of 21.
Disability rights activist Nick Dupree who wasn’t supposed to live past his 21st birthday died last weekend. Thursday would have been his 35th birthday.

Our son Arman and his talented friends at Cinema school in SF are making their first film. Below is a description and a funding site. If you feel so inclined to donate I know these “creatives” would really appreciate it. Check out the informational video on the front page – it’s a kick! And, it’s so nice to see young people being creative and productive! The best part is that they are going to submit the film to a variety of festivals including South by Southwest, Kansas City Film Festival, and the San Francisco Film Festival.
